PARK REQUIREMENTS FOR CARAVANS & ANNEXES
Please contact the Office for approval prior to caravan and/or annexe purchase & feel free to discuss your plans or any queries you have with us.
CARAVAN REQUIREMENTS
Age of proposed caravans must be new or less than 15 years of age & approved by the Office for age, length & suitability.
All movable dwellings must be RMD’s Registerable Movable Dwellings (caravans) as defined by the Act & be maintained with the requirements set out in the Residiential Tenancies (Caravan Parks and Movable Dwellings Registration and Standards) Regulations 2024.
Maximum length of caravans is 25’ long (individual caravan length must be approved by the Office for each site).
Maximum height is 2.2m high above chasis (overall height 2.7m to ground). Consideration of our Vegetation Overlays, we require touring vans not Off/Semi Off road. Wheel arches & low suspension will assist with lowering height.
Wynndean do not allow electric hot water storage units. Hot water must be external instantaneous gas hot water service (by a licensed Plumber) with LPG cylinder.
Caravan washing machine permitted for 15ltr capacity only & plumbed by licensed plumber.
‘A-Frame’ can be engineered to be removed. An Engineer contact can be provided upon request who will supply computations and compliance.
Solar panels, 12 v systems, batteries not required.
Drawbars, boxes, awnings & spare wheels can be removed before annexe is installed on-site.

ANNEXE REQUIREMENTS
Annexes size & positioning must be approved by the Office. Often this is best done when the van is on-site.
Annexes are max 9’ wide at Wynndean to comply with CFA separation & access.
(1) air conditioner maximum 2.5kw per site due to power limitations. Often split system more efficient in the annexe.
Wynndean can assist with trade contacts & co-ordination including, plumbers, electricians, TV aerials, paving, cleaners and ‘A’ frame engineer.
