(June 2024) EV Charging prohibited in Wynndean

Caravan & Annexe sites & infrastructure are not designed to carry the required load for EV charging nor provide a separate circuit as per the recommendations from Energy Safe Victoria. Whilst the current demand does not warrant a dedicated EV charging station within the Park, there are many nearby.

(November 2025) Light EV not permitted charging within caravans & annexes

Energy Safe Victoria & FRV’s safety advice contains many requirements for Light EV charging. CFA & FRV advise, charging within caravan/annexe Park environment pose high fire risk due to construction materials used, confined space/area, one entry/exit point increasing further fire spread from thermal runaway.
