Winter time at Wynndean…

...we’ve been lucky down in the Grove to have had some refreshing Winter rains and then be warmed by the Winter sun with some amazing weather! We’ve had some beautiful clean surf, foggy mornings and still days.
Can you believe this photograph was taken in the middle of June at 13th Beach, captured by Wynndean’s very own, Adam Stan. Prints of Adam’s amazing drone photography can be purchased through contacting Adam on instagram or facebook, Wynndean office or stopping him around the park ;)

Road Sealing started… !

The construction of the unmade roads surrounding Wynndean started on the 1st July 2019 after a significant delay. Whilst guests will be able to have access to their sites during the 5 month construction period, there will be road closures and restrictions on the way guests access the surrounding streets including The Esplanade, Osborne Street, Inskip Street, Fields Street and Baker Street. We are working closely with the contractors Harcom to minimise these disruptions. We will be sure to provide updates to you all as the work progresses. The work should be completed in approximately 5 months.

  • As of 5th July there is no access from the Wallington/Barwon Heads Road into Osborne Street. Please use Baker Street to access the Park.

  • There is no vehicular access to the Esplanade. Pedestrians walking to the beach please be careful of road construction vehicles.

  • Please note that the flags/bunting around the streets are protecting the trees from being damaged by machinery. These flags will be in place for months to come.

  • We will be updating guests again in a few weeks time. Please feel free to call or email for more details.

Thank you for your feedback- Smoking Policy

We would like to sincerely thank all of our guests who took the time to complete our recent Smoking Survey. We very much value your feedback and wanted to create a smoking policy that reflects our guests thoughts and values. We had approximately 150 guests respond to the survey.

Our mission is “to provide a safe, happy and peaceful environment where people and families can connect with nature and each other”. As of 1st July 2019, we now have a smoking policy in place whereby smoking is not permitted in areas that are deemed to affect others. As many of you suggested, we would like to encourage the principles of respect, courtesy and common sense in people practicing appropriate behaviour however, we need to ensure a safe environment for all of our guests.

We encourage guests to contact the office anytime if they have any concerns or questions and communicate directly with office staff.

New Playground Sails

We love feedback about the park and when a guest suggested shade sails over our playground equipment we saw it has a wonderful opportunity. We hope you all enjoy this new addition to the SS Colk Ship! This area has also had recently upgraded the synthetic grass basketball court and a new downball court.
Thank you to Sails that Shade for the sails and Adam Stan for the fantastic drone pictures.
