Easter 2018

The Easter holidays…

...have rolled around very quickly with a short school term.  It was nice to get some long-awaited rain last week to freshen the Park up a little.  The weather is looking mild for the Easter weekend, perfect for those early morning surfs or a stroll along the beach.  We hope to see lots of people down enjoying this beautiful time of the year.  The Dunes café has shut down for renovations; however, a small cafe called ‘Kettlefish’ has opened near the beach amenity block.  Very handy for an early morning coffee, breaky, lunch or an icy pole.  They are open from 6:30am to 3pm.

New Season
The financial year is fast approaching and we are starting to look at our tariffs for the new season.  You will receive your account by the June long weekend by email.

Wynndean Website

We have been working on a new website and will let you know when it is up and running! 

Block 3 Electricity Upgrade

The electricity upgrade in the Block 3 area is still on track to begin on Monday 16th April.  We will keep updating all guests in the area as works commence.  We ask that all bikes, boxes, surfboards, toys and materials around vans and annexes be put inside or on decks to allow easy access for us to trench around by the end of the school holidays.

Wi-Fi

Wynndean’s free wi-fi service is due to be updated to NBN and is still operating on ADSL.  We have just committed to a new project with Telstra which will improve the coverage and speed throughout the Park.  We will keep you updated with changes.  The wi-fi is available from 8am to 10pm daily.  The password is the same (10X4): 4444444444

Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Please see the below flyer for our annual Easter egg hunt.  We have around 1,000 eggs to search for!

Artificial Grass/Turf
Please ensure all artificial grass is rolled up and stored under vans for the winter period.  This allows the ground to rejuvenate and for us to mow and wipper snip safely and without destroying your investment.  Please make sure you do this by the end of the Easter Holidays.  Thank you in advance.

Gazebos/Shade Shelters
Gazebos can be very dangerous in high winds and make it difficult to mow around.  There have been quite a few destroyed by the wind and weight of rain. We know it can be tedious, but they should be pulled down each time you leave. Please make sure these are pulled down after Easter and stored for the winter months. 

Amenities
Please don't hesitate to let us know of any issues with the amenities.  We really appreciate your assistance when communicating leaks, blockages and problems.  The sooner we know the quicker we can deal with it.

Trees
Please let the office know if you have branches on or around your caravan or annexe which may be causing damage.  As always, please be reminded that no branches should be cut as we are under a vegetation overlay and require a permit to cut trees.  Please see the office if you have any concerns. 

Hard Rubbish Collections
For customers wanting to dispose of hard rubbish ie couches, bbq’s, could you please inform the office and we will organise to have it picked up from your site.  Please don’t place large items at bin stops.  We try and reuse, recycle and where possible take items in good condition to the local charity organisations.

Tents
Please be reminded that tents are not allowed at any time in the Park.

Gas Bottles
Please see the office if you require a 9kg or 45kg gas bottle. These are delivered, fitted and tested for $44 (9KG) and $125 (45KG). For same day service it is best to advise us by lunch time.
